Jim Bard is a Principal Director in Accenture's Public Service industry in North America. He focuses on helping government and higher education clients transform their procurement operations across the people, process, technology and policy dimensions to prosper in their dynamic environments that are full of business and technology disruptions.
Jim has worked with Accenture for over 22 years, supporting government organizations like the State of North Carolina, State of Florida, New York State and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and educational institutions such as Miami University of Ohio and Laureate Education. He brings innovative ideas, tools and deep industry expertise to help organizations transform their procurement operations into “centers of innovation” that increase employee satisfaction and contribute to improved service delivery and citizen engagement.
Jim is an alumnus of the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and Darden Business School. He enjoys volunteering as an auxiliary officer with his local public safety department as a way to give back to the Atlanta community where his wife and two children have lived for over 22 years.
