The sessions reinforced the paradox that in a world disrupted and transformed by digital innovation, people are more important than ever to business success. New technologies present numerous threats and opportunities to traditional banks, and their people are key to dealing with both.
To support the business in this new environment, the human resources function must develop new skills and review its approach to managing a workforce that has evolved and become more demanding. It needs to help shape a salesforce that can respond effectively to changing customer expectations and behavior by taking advantage of advanced technologies and new digital processes.
