Robert P. Gach

Managing Director – Accenture Strategy, Capital Markets


Robert Gach is managing director for Capital Markets within Accenture Strategy. His role focuses on serving investment banks, exchanges, clearing and settlement organizations, asset and wealth managers, and custodians in the critical issues facing their businesses. He is also a member of the Accenture Global Leadership Council. Mr. Gach has more than 34 years of experience working for Accenture in the global capital markets industry. During that time he has worked with leading companies in the areas of strategy development and information technology planning, architecture development and implementation, package systems evaluation and implementation, custom application development and outsourcing. Prior to joining his current role, Mr. Gach was the Global Capital Markets Industry managing director responsible for strategy, developing Accenture offerings, establishing investment priorities and serving the needs of large, global clients. He has also worked in Tokyo as the Financial Services Asia Pacific managing director.

Mr. Gach is a frequent commentator on industry issues; his views have been featured in The Economist, The Financial Times, Market Watch and WallStreet & Technology and on CNBC. He is the co-author of the Accenture research program Top 10 Challenges 2016. He is also a senior sponsor and represents Accenture in the FinTech Innovation Lab, a mentoring program run by the Partnership Fund for New York City and Accenture. The program offers advice and support to early and growth stage companies that have developed cutting-edge technology products targeted at financial services customers.

Mr. Gach is a graduate of the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. In addition, Mr. Gach is Fordham University’s “Scholar-in-Residence” for its Center for Digital Transformation and a member of the President’s Council of the University.
