Gene Reznik is the senior managing director for the Accenture Technology Ecosystem & Ventures organization. Gene is responsible for leading all facets of the Accenture ecosystem and venturing lifecycle—setting strategy, forming and managing strategic partnerships, developing relationships with venture capital firms and startups, and driving the Accenture innovation agenda.
Throughout his more than 20 year career with Accenture, Gene has held a number of global leadership positions across the Accenture Communications, Media & Technology (CMT) operating group.
Prior to his current role, he was the group technology officer for the Accenture CMT operating group. In this capacity, Gene was responsible for leading the technology agenda for the group globally, which included defining the CMT technology strategy, overseeing current and future technology partnerships, and developing emerging technology areas.
Gene previously led the Accenture CMT business in Asia Pacific, served as the global managing director of Accenture's Communications industry and led the CMT global strategy practice.
During his tenure, Gene has led high profile engagements with some of the world's largest technology organizations. His work included formulating and implementing product, technology and operating strategies.
Over the years, Gene has authored a number of articles and has been a frequent keynote speaker at industry conferences. Gene is a former member of the board of directors for the Telemanagement Forum.
Gene holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Northwestern University, and a master's in business administration from the University of Chicago.
