In the midst of a global HR transformation, Avis Budget Group (ABG) is working with Accenture to integrate and deploy Workday for 35,000 people across 26 countries and 8 brands. This vast and complex program is ABG’s first truly global initiative. The “big-bang” go-live set for January 2017 will help reshape ABG’s entire HR service delivery through process modernization and world-class capabilities. Takeda, a leading global pharmaceutical, turned to Accenture to centralize disparate HR systems onto Workday. Its global deployment was very complex, requiring 100 point-to-point integrations in Phase 1 and 40+ integrations in Phase-2. Faced with time constraints and 50+ countries in Phase-2, Accenture and Takeda experimented with early and iterative prototyping of integrations—providing a clear path to an early handshake of integration files between Workday and Takeda's local IT vendors.
