Bruno Berthon is managing director for Europe, Africa, Middle East and Latin America as well as for Digital Strategy within Accenture Strategy. His role focuses on advising companies and governments on digital strategy and transformation – i.e. business strategy in a digital world, competitiveness, global operating models and large-scale business transformation and organizational change. His role also focuses on driving the operational performance of Accenture Strategy in its largest Geographic area as well as developing its positioning at the digital intersection of Business & Technology. He is also proposing, designing and implementing cutting-edge organic and external growth strategies that prioritize digital in industrial and utilities sectors.
Mr. Berthon has more than 20 years of experience working for Accenture. His previous roles include leading Accenture Management Consulting Growth & Strategy and establishing Accenture Sustainability Services as well as leading Accenture Strategy in France and Benelux. He was formerly responsible for Accenture Management Consulting in France and Accenture Strategy in France and Benelux, where he gained extensive strategy consulting experience across a wide range of industries—from retail and consumer goods through to hi-tech, transportation and utilities.
Prior to joining Accenture, Mr. Berthon held management positions at the Aluminum and Packaging conglomerate, Pechiney, responsible for marketing development, corporate division marketing and acting head of its Czech subsidiary.
Mr. Berthon studied engineering and economics at Ecole Centrale, Paris. He has a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD, a Master's in macroeconomics from Paris La Sorbonne and a degree in law from Paris XIII. He lives in Paris, France.
