Mobility Test Center for NTT DOCOMO

Accenture Mobility helps NTT DOCOMO Inc. establish and operate a remote test center at the University of Aizu in Fukushima.

Overview

NTT DOCOMO is the leading mobile phone operator in Japan, with more than 60 million customers. NTT DOCOMO provides a wide variety of mobile multimedia services including i-mode, which provides e-mail and internet access, and FOMA, the world's first 3G mobile service based on W-CDMA.

NTT DOCOMO approached Accenture to establish and operate a remote test center at the University of Aizu in Fukushima. This allowed testing of multiple devices across multiple smart phone OS versions simultaneously on a cloud-based system.
