After examining more than 18+ service providers, Everest Group awarded Accenture high marks based on the research firm’s “PEAK MatrixTM” (measuring market success and Performance, Experience, Ability and Knowledge).
The “Leader” status places Accenture in the highest of three categories in Everest Group’s latest Procurement Outsourcing Annual Report and Service Provider Landscape, released in June 2016. In fact, the assessment recognizes Accenture as the leading provider in the entire field. In addition, Accenture was named a Star Performer, based on its relative year-on-year movement on the PEAK Matrix. Accenture was one of only three providers to achieve this recognition.
The company strengthened its position in procurement outsourcing market based on several factors, including its services profile, buyer satisfaction, technology, and innovation activities in 2015 and the overall provider landscape.
We reached “Leader” status thanks to our services profile and our key accomplishments.
“Accenture is one of the few players capable of delivering transformational procurement across the "strategy-to-operate" continuum by seamlessly combining consulting, technology and services.”

Everest Group’s PEAK Matrix framework provides an objective, data-driven assessment of procurement outsourcing (PO) service providers based on market success and delivery capability.
Service providers were classified into one of three categories: Leaders, Major Contenders and Aspirants.
The analysis included multi-process PO contracts with a minimum of three procurement processes, more than $1 million in annualized contract value and a minimum contract term of three years. Typically, managed spending is greater than $50 million.
Everest Group’s study also included all multi-process PO contracts signed as of December, 2015.
