Marcelo Gil de Souza is managing director for Latin America within Accenture Strategy. His role focuses on advising companies and governments on business strategy, operating models, digital strategies and innovation, cost management, customer strategies, human capital management, large-scale business transformation and organizational change.
Mr. Souza has more than 15 years of experience in Accenture. Prior to his current role, Mr. Souza led the Corporate Strategy offering group globally and had also been responsible for the energy, chemicals, utilities and natural resources services group in Brazil. His experience is primarily in the areas of corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions and operating models.
Prior to joining Accenture, Mr. Souza worked in strategic and financial planning at Shell.
Mr. Souza has an engineering degree from the Parana’s Federal University in Brazil and received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Rochester. He is based in São Paolo, Brazil.
