I lead the Accenture Operations team in Australia and New Zealand, where we advise organisations on the most innovative, long-term and sustainable ways of doing business. We do this with intelligent operations – bringing together industrialised tools and processes with new flexible workforce models that combine process experts with artificial intelligence, robots and analytics agents. At its heart, it’s all about digitising and automating what our clients do, as well as joining forces to deliver services on their behalf, to help them work faster and better.
I enjoy being part of Accenture’s shift to the New economy. That’s how we describe the way digital technology, artificial intelligence, robotics, cloud computing and advanced analytics are creating new opportunities for businesses to grow. As part of that shift, I’ve taken the lead in advising on and delivering ‘as-a-service’ engagements for our clients – these are the innovative, plug-in, scalable, consumption-based services that characterise the New economy. They’re a fundamental part of how we help our clients innovate and get their products and services out into the marketplace faster.
In my 19 years of consulting and outsourcing experience across a wide range of corporate services, including finance, HR, procurement, digital marketing and analytics, I’ve had the chance to work with major organisations in banking, insurance, mining, gas, telecommunications, retail and other industries. Most recently I’ve been helping clients build flexible operating strategies to thrive in the digital economy.
