I’m responsible for leading Accenture across Australia and New Zealand, and I’m proud of the work we do to help leading companies solve their most complex and challenging business problems.
As one of Accenture’s most experienced client executives, I’ve been fortunate to work with some of the world’s largest businesses and influential leaders. That work has spanned many industries – from consumer products to financial services. And it’s taken me all over the world – from New Zealand and Australia, through China and South-East Asia, to Europe and the US.
I’m passionate about one question above all others: how best to build flourishing organisations and workplace relationships based on trust. I firmly believe the human connection is the most potent force we have for unlocking the full capacities we all have.
This philosophy guides my work at Accenture, where we are committed to being the most truly human organisation in the digital age.
It’s also why I believe so strongly in the power of continuous learning. And this has brought me back to education many times over the years. I am currently completing a PhD on the subject of the human flourishing of individuals and workplace collectives, and serve on the global board of the David L. Cooperrider Centre for Appreciative Inquiry.
Bob is a recipient of Trust Magazine's Lifetime Achievement Award for his thought leadership and contributions to building trust-based relationships in business. He is also a member of Male Champions of Change, in support of building a gender equal world.
