Accenture ranked No. 24 on the 2017 Barron's 500, marking its second consecutive year in the top 25 and fifteenth consecutive year on the list. Accenture was also again the highest-ranked company in its industry sector.
According to Barron's, a leading U.S. financial publication, the list is an exclusive ranking of the 500 largest publicly traded companies in the U.S. and Canada as measured by reported sales in the latest fiscal year.
Compiled by HOLT, a unit of Credit Suisse, it compares companies based on three equally weighted factors: median three-year cash-flow-based return on investment, or CFROI; the change in CFROI for the latest year relative to the prior three-year median; and sales growth in the latest fiscal year.
