Abdul Zamerli leads the Advanced Customer Strategy group in Australia and New Zealand. Accenture Strategy works side by side with client leadership teams to solve their organisations' most pressing challenges and harness their most promising opportunities at the intersection of business, technology and operations.
In his role, Abdul (Abs) works with clients on their strategic customer agenda, to drive sustainable and profitable growth in dynamic channels and ecosystems through differentiated front-office capabilities enabled by technology. Abs’ approach blends business strategy with design thinking with a focus on building client engagement and strategies that create impact, that are implementable.
In addition to telecommunications, Abs has worked across a number of industries over the years including drinks and beverages, insurance, and legal. Focussing on every aspect of the customer experience, he helps clients to improve total customer return and monetize customer experience, as well as defining strategies to find new paths to grow. He is passionate about developing innovative ideas particularly in industries exploring new territory.
Abs is also experienced in M&A, having co-led a design thinking strategy firm integration to create a differentiated local market offering and headed up the Australian arm of a large global top 10 Telco acquisition deal worth $700M.
Abs holds a degree in Commerce from the University of Sydney and completed Business Strategy studies from INSEAD University. He is based in Sydney.
