As a recruiter, what do you look for in potential applicants?
I review their skill match to the open role, and also how candidates can answer questions on their experience.

What is your go-to interview question? Why do you ask this?
Once I have discussed candidates’ backgrounds, I ask them why they are leaving their current employment and what they are looking for in their new role. This is to ensure we meet their expectations if they are successful.

What is the strongest piece of advice you can give a potential applicant?
Don’t undersell your experience (especially in technologies). List all relevant credentials, and ensure your CV is easy to read.
