Taking the first step in your career can be daunting. That’s why we’ve designed our internships to support and develop you into a future-ready professional. At Accenture, you’ll have opportunities to play to your strengths and make the best use of whatever you’re passionate about.

You’ll work alongside our consultants on real Accenture projects where you will be making an impact from day one. You’ll help global and local iconic brands solve their biggest problems by unleashing the power of technology and human ingenuity.

Our summer internship program is competitively paid and open to students who are currently in their penultimate year of study, studying Computer Science, Information Technology or any discipline of Engineering including Software Engineering. Please note that you must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen based in Australia to apply.

Application process

Step 1: Online application

We look at your academic and leadership achievements, teamwork skills and interest in our work. We want to know why you want to join us and what you’re into. We’ll ask you to send your CV.

Step 2: Minimum requirement check

You must be in penultimate or final year at uni. You must also be a AU/NZ citizen, Australia Permanent Resident or based in Australia.

Step 3: Recruitment phone call

If something about you catches our eye, we’ll reach out for a chat and let you know if we’re planning on any further discussions.

Step 4: Virtual assessment

We’ll invite you to a virtual assessment, which includes a team activity and case study followed by a one-on-one video interview with an Accenture leader.

Step 5: Internship role offer

If all goes well, we’ll make you an offer to join our team as an intern!

We usually receive a huge number of applications, so it’s normal for us to take several weeks to review submissions and respond to candidates. We will get back to you as soon as we can!

During the recruitment process, we’ll work with you to understand your strengths and skills to match you with the most relevant role. When you intern with us, you’ll be assigned to a real Accenture project.

You can apply if you’re in your penultimate and final year of study. Preferably studying Computer Science, Information Technology or any discipline of Engineering including Software Engineering as summer internship is focused on Technology and Industry X service groups.

You should be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen based in Australia. You must be available to work full-time for the duration of the internship.

This program is open to applicants with Technology and Engineering backgrounds. If you want to learn new ways to build a better future, you’re who we’re looking for.
