Careers
As part of Accenture Interactive, you’ll help drive sustainable growth for clients by creating meaningful experiences. You’ll support leading organisations in designing, building, communicating and running experiences across the entire journey for their customers, employees, patients or citizens.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
You’ll help our clients design, build and run experience journeys for their customers and employees to boost brand loyalty and growth.
Our aspiring Developer graduates are junior engineers eager to master the fundamentals of their practice area. The graduate program builds onto a undergraduate course load or dev bootcamp, taking theoretics and applying them to real-life development work. The grad program equips qualified individuals with the skills they need to join client engagements as productive engineers. During this graduate program, grad will work alongside our team participating in existing client projects.
DO I QUALIFY?
To qualify, you need to be in your final year in uni or you have graduated in the past two years.
This program is open to applicants from all disciplines and backgrounds. You must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident.
If you thrive on creativity, innovation and teamwork, you’re a good fit for our Interactive group. A flair for analytical and logical problem solving is essential, alongside strong numerical skills. Our graduate positions are client-facing roles that entail interpreting and translating client requirements into workable solutions that bring business benefits. As such, you need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate numerical concepts to a non-numerical audience.
HOW DO I APPLY?
Applications are now closed. Register below to get notified once applications open on May 2021.
We look at your academic and leadership achievements, teamwork skills and interest in our work. We want to know why you want to join us and what you’re into. We’ll ask you to send your CV.
Once we’ve received your application, we’ll review your CV for eligibility and suitability for our graduate roles, then we’ll be in touch for the next steps.
If something about you catches our eye, we’ll reach out for a chat and let you know if we’re planning on any further discussions or skill testing.
Successful candidates will be invited to an interactive virtual assessment day, which includes a team activity and case study.
This step of the process involves a one-on-one interview with an Accenture leader to ensure that we are mutually a good fit for each other.
If all goes well, we will make you an offer and work with you to agree a start date. Congratulations and welcome to the Accenture family!
We’ll invest in your development from day one.
Training is a key priority for our graduates. We know that you’re keen to get up to speed, and we have a structured training curriculum to support you and this will continue throughout your career at Accenture. With a supportive community, you can also look forward to mentoring from some of our most successful leaders.
Our world-class training will help you build foundational skills, but the real-world experience of solving client problems is where you’ll really accelerate your development. We seek to give you a wide variety of project work as part of the graduate experience.
What are my chances of getting into Accenture?
Graduate positions are highly competitive. We typically receive thousands of applications for a small number of positions. If you did not get offered with a position in Accenture Interactive but we think you could be a good fit for other parts of Accenture, we may offer you another graduate role.
Do I need a particular degree?
We are open to all degree types, once you have a passion for the intersection of creativity and technology. Some roles it would be highly desirable to have a STEAM degree as they are more technical.
I applied last year and was unsuccessful. Can I apply again?
Yes, we’re open to candidates applying again for our graduate experience. We strongly encourage you to take our previous feedback on board and demonstrate how you have addressed it to increase your chances of success.
Can I apply for a particular office?
Yes. In the application form, you are welcome to state a preference to work at Accenture’s offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide.
What if I have a special requirement and need help applying?
Please reach out to us at gradtalent@accenture.com and we’ll do everything possible to make our process accessible to you.
Do you sponsor international applicants?
Unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor candidates at this time. You need to be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident to apply.
How long is the process and when are the interviews?
Our graduate recruitment process opens for applications on 1 March and close on 15 March. We’ll hold first-round interviews, the group assessment and final-round interviews between mid to late April. We plan to extend offers in early May.
Will I be interviewed in person or over Teams, Zoom or another kind of teleconference?
Pending COVID-19 developments, we will hold interviews and the group exercises virtually – usually via Microsoft Teams.
When is the start date?
Our graduate experience will be across two intakes: June 2021 and early 2022. However, other start dates can be arranged in some instances. In the online application, you can include any special circumstances regarding your availability.
What if I have another question that’s not answered here?
