The moment you apply for any contractor position through Talent Marketplace your details will be sent to the Accenture Talent Relationship Manager who will be in touch to discuss your suitability and availability before organizing interviews with the project. Your application may also be viewed by the project manager.
Once you have completed the registration process then you will be able apply for open opportunities. If you are successful after applying, you generally won’t be able to start until some background checks are carried out. You will be notified when background checks are completed. You may be asked to undergo the background checks earlier than being confirmed into a role in order to speed up the process.

On Talent Marketplace, you’ll see a wide range of projects available, some lasting a few weeks and others up to 6 months, depending on the project. If you’re interested in full-time work, search our jobs section here.
Most of our Talent Marketplace assignments are based at the client’s offices and also involve gaining access to client assets, intellectual property and other items of value. For that reason, as well as the personal safety of everyone at Accenture, it’s important that our talent ecosystem is fortified by well-credentialed people.

The checks are standard to many organisations around the country. You will receive instructions asking you to enter your personal details into an online portal managed by a third party called Hire Right. Personal details include photo id, employment history, address etc and all remain unseen by Accenture to protect your privacy. Hire Right perform the checks and let us know once the checks have been completed successfully, keeping your details safe and unseen by Accenture to protect your privacy.

Essentially the checks involve:

  • 100 point ID check
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Criminal history including international checks if you have lived overseas in the last 7 years
  • Financial check for bankruptcy/insolvency
  • Verification of your education
  • Confirmation of your work experience
  • Additional checks may be required depending on the role or client requirements
As part of our process, and to ensure client and company confidentiality, you will also be asked to fill out additional forms relating to non-disclosure, ownership and consent to perform the background checks.
Your Accenture Talent Relationship Manager will walk you through the process after you join. The roles that you are applying for as a part of Talent Marketplace are contract opportunities, so you will sign a contract with Entity Solutions as a Contractor. Your payment will be issued through our partner, Entity Solutions. There is an option to include any specific requests relating to payment when applying for a role.
Every person registering will receive a call or email from an Accenture Talent Relationship Manager, and notifications once there is an open role that matches their skills.

Accenture would like to use your contact details and CV, educational and business history details, which you have provided to us directly for the following purposes:

  • To inform you of suitable contracting opportunities
  • To let you know more about Accenture and invite you to relevant events.
  • To stay in touch with you, and answer any questions you might have

Accenture may also use your data for administrating our Talent Marketplace, and for statistical analysis. This is done in an anonymised way. Your personal data will be accessed by a limited number of people in Accenture. We may share your data with our vendor, who is hosting the data on our behalf. Our vendor is subject to contractual obligations in relation to its access and storage of the personal data and will not use it for any other purpose. Accenture is also a global organisation and we may transfer your data to other countries in which Accenture's worldwide organisation does business and to our vendor in the United States. In particular, your information will be accessible by Accenture's global recruitment team for the purpose of considering you for potential job opportunities. Your information will be processed in accordance with Accenture's Data Privacy Policy 90, a copy of which is available on request. You are entitled to know whether we hold personal data about you and, if we do, to have access to that personal data and require it to be corrected if it is inaccurate, in accordance with local data privacy laws.
