ROLE OVERVIEW

  • Helping to develop client relationships that thrive and endure. Working with those clients to define their key business challenges and shape qualitative studies that will answer to those challenges
  • Immersing yourself in the client’s business to establish a credible base of knowledge from which to build
  • Conducting, delivering and helping to deploy qualitative research that is sharp, smart, inventive, pragmatic and commercial
  • Helping to develop our offer in the qualitative space to create industry leading techniques
  • Demonstrating a passion for ongoing and self-directed learning to develop your own skills and mentoring and helping develop the skills of junior colleagues
  • Sharing in the development of the Fiftyfive5 offer, culture and ways of working

Lead within Fiftyfive5

  • Understand FF5 offer and how it is applied to a variety of client opportunities
  • Deliver project role with excellence, manage own time efficiently, and offer support to other team members

Strong client relationship:

  • Understand client’s industry, business and goals
  • Liaise with client on research logistics – timeline, progress, fieldwork schedules
  • Liaise with suppliers for recruitment
  • Demonstrate care and quality in every client interaction

Deep Research Expertise

  • Previous experience with facilitation of focus groups (50+)
  • Experience working across fmcg
  • Understand research techniques across a range of applications
  • Contribute to proposals, research design and costing
  • Draft recruitment specs, questionnaires and stimulus etc. (Able to develop more complex qualitative approaches for a range of client issues and can sign off methodology, recruitment specs and questionnaire with clients)
  • Advanced knowledge of running in-depth interviews and online moderation (focus groups desirable but not essential)
  • Execute allocated part of research – quality, on-time, on-budget
  • Build strong working relationship with external suppliers
  • Quality check data
  • Deliver accurate research analysis
  • Able to manage more complex projects (eg multi-market studies)
  • Able to draft pages/ sections of debrief
  • Able to utilise frameworks to develop strategic and actionable outcomes across range of methodologies
  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to provide input into final written presentation
  • Able to deliver portion of verbal debrief, with guidance from senior person
  • Responsible for Information Security of the business

  • Participate fully in kick-off to understand project purpose and goals purpose
  • Distil point of view from analysis and share with the team

Clear engaging communication:

  • Participate productively in team discussions and update on progress
  • Communicate with client in the FF5 way – clear, succinct, timely, creating a great experience
  • Write small sections of the debrief
  • Confidently deliver portion of presentation

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Industry experience:

Specialist

Required education:

Tertiary educated in related discipline

Additional experience:

  • Flexible and adaptable to work outside of core hours
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office and sound knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to deliver timely solutions and develop strong relationships with different levels of staff, senior management across the organisation and external clients
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to carry out duties autonomously and work effectively in a team environment
  • Present and conduct self professionally at all times
