ROLE OVERVIEW
 

This role would suit an enthusiastic and commercially minded researcher who is looking to make a difference.  The work undertaken is diverse: pure consulting, high end-qual, advanced quant, integrated marketing problem solving, all linked by a common objective to achieve tangible, commercial outcomes.

The role requires a skilled quantitative practitioner with a strategic mindset and an understanding of how to develop actionable insights that provide clients with business solutions and opportunities.

Tracking experience is a must. Qualitative skills a plus.
 

This role would include:

  • Developing and eventually owning client relationships that thrive and endure. Working with those clients to define their key business difficulties and shape quantitative studies that will answer those challenges

  • Immersing yourself in the client’s business to establish a credible base of knowledge from which to build

  • Responsible for shaping, designing & delivering quantitative research

  • Able to write assessment templates

  • Write own notes for team assessment sessions, distilling key learnings

  • Share assessment input at team sessions, helping build the ‘answer’

  • Familiar with and can combine a range of techniques to address client issues

  • Designing, deploying and facilitating client workshops

  • Contribute a point of view to proposals, research design, resourcing, costing

  • Develop outcome focused recruitment specs, questionnaires and stimulus

  • Manage project’s research – quality, on-time, on-budget

  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and quickly resolve issues

  • Deliver accurate research assessment

  • Demonstrates expertise in analysis software packages such as SPSS, Excel and Q

  • Able to generate quantitative solutions, coordinating input from all project members

  • Apply relevant business knowledge to client projects

  • Take the brief, with senior support

  • Lead the data analysis - validate quality, apply frameworks, compile key themes and strive for commercial solutions

  • Deliver Data and AI advisory projects by solving client difficulties and needs through industry specific research.

  • Drive the creation of content and deliverables necessary for project completion aligned to Value, Op Model and Platform advisory using the latest data and technology trends
     

Additional experience:

  • Flexible and adaptable

  • Ability to deliver timely solutions and develop strong relationships with different levels of staff, senior management across the organisation and external clients

  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to carry out duties autonomously and work effectively in a team environment

     

Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
 

Industry experience:

Market Research Consultancy and/or Customer Experience
 

Required education:

Tertiary educated in related discipline
