Job Description
This role is aimed for seasoned Data Encryption Security SME who will be instrumental in leading the design, development, and implementation of our Data Security stream. The Data Encryption Security SME must have a solid technical proficiency to evaluate various methods of securing data to ensure architectural decisions made are robust and scalable. With extensive cyber security and deep architecture knowledge, the Data Encryption Security SME will perform detailed Data Security Risk Assessments and implement technical solutions to mitigate identified risks. The Data Encryption Security SME is required to work independently and also in a group setting, to achieve the best outcome for clients and Accenture.

Key technical skills expected:
Detailed knowledge of security concepts, secure platform architecture and data security.
Reviewing current system security measures and recommending and implementing enhancements
Ability to understand client business requirements in data and architecture security solutions to meet the client’s objectives and desired outcomes.
Remaining up to date with the latest security systems, standards, authentication protocols, and products
Proficiency in researching, architecting, implementing, and verifying security measures for Data systems, models, and methodologies across the entire data science lifecycle.
Support and validate the discovery of sensitive information residing within data repositories (e.g., GitHub, network drives, databases) across an organisation.
Provide technical expertise in protecting sensitive information from inadvertent disclosure and exfiltration while in-transit and at-rest.
Sourcing and implementing new security solutions to better protect the organisation.
Assist in creating and maintaining technical documents, including policies, procedures, and standards.
Experience in implementing security controls to improve system/platform overall security.
Knowledge and experience with identifying and understanding the most common application security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
Hands on experience to be able to Architect, design and review implementation on data security solutions and data security/data governance tools such as Thales HSM, and Microsoft CA, Cloud HSM and Certificate Management tools A. to meet the client’s objectives and desired outcomes.
In-depth Knowledge of processes related to HSMs management, key and certificate lifecycle management.
In-depth understanding of data security controls (encryption, access controls, DLP, key management, secure configuration management).
A good understanding and application of cloud security concepts
A good understanding and application of Identity access management concepts
Ability to conduct systematic research.
Risk assessment knowledge against industry standards
A good understanding and application of cloud security concepts
Qualifications
Desirable:
Data privacy knowledge
Threat Modelling for Data Security threats
Certifications in one or more of the following: CIPP, CIPT, CISSP, CISA, or Security+
Identity and Access Management
Baseline Security Clearance or the ability to obtain security clearance.
