Job Description

Direct and manage Corporate Development Transaction Services (CDTS) activities for Accenture's most significant and complex transactions. Control the flow of activities and leadership reviews on all proposals. Direct financial deal shaping and structuring for complex outsourcing and consulting arrangements. Bring commercial and financial rigor in support of the commercial approach and client value proposition, ensuring Accenture's economic interests are protected. 

 

Detailed Description: 

  • Work independently with CDTS tools (DATA, CTA, CTA analytics, ATM) to create financial analysis used for internal reporting. 

  • Maintain all financial and commercial assumptions supporting the deal financials 

  • Work independently with Solution Architects to align costing and pricing with the solution. 

  • Proactively reach out to controllership/Tax/CFM/treasury/Finance directors should concerns arise that will need their approvals 

  • Drive commercial and financial rigor by adhering to regulatory and organisational principles 

  • Work closely with Accenture teams including sales, solution, operating units’ leadership, growth platform leadership, client financial management teams, corporate controllership, legal and global tax to achieve the optimum balance of risk and reward between Accenture and the client for all proposed deal structures 

  • Represent CDTS at deal team meetings/deal reviews, providing deal shaping advice, identifying deal risks, and providing a mitigation strategy.  

  • Contribute to recruiting, retaining and engaging diverse talent in Finance 

  • Support senior leadership on high profile and complex deals and their negotiation 

  • Provide oversight to analyst where you will be responsible for the quality of the outputs and take the opportunity to develop junior team members 

  • May have country, hub location, operating groups or geographic unit specific responsibilities 

  • Contribute to CDTS capabilities and operations and to thought leadership on emerging trends in the industry 

Educational Qualification 

Must have 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other Business-related disciplines 

Good to have 

  • Professional Accounting qualification preferred, e.g. CPA, MBA, CIMA, ACA, ACCA” 

 

Skills & Work Experience 

Must have 

  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Pricing & Costing of Accenture Consulting and Outsourcing Transactions 

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel  

  • Advanced knowledge in Financial Modelling 

  • Proficient Knowledge of Accenture’s Financial Policies 

 

Good to Have 

  • Experience in managing a team of Analysts. 

 

Other requirements 

  • Flexibility to travel for business at short notice 

 

Position(s) to be based in Melbourne, Relevant work permits must already be in place.
