Role Responsibilities:

Accenture’s Industry X practice provides process control, OT and electrical engineering, procurement, construction and management to the extractive, infrastructure and manufacturing industries across Australia.  Following continued growth an opportunity has arisen for a Communications/Network/infrastructure Specialist (LAN/WAN/Security/Wireless/Compute & storage) with experience in a senior role at our WA office.

Working as a Project Manager primary responsibility is to Accenture’s clients, through leading cross-functional teams in delivery of enterprise system implementations. You and your team will design, test and support industrial network projects during the build, commissioning and ongoing operations phase, provide Cyber Security analysis and solution for OT networks as well as deliver high quality technical work to successfully execute changes in technology infrastructure.

Key activities include:

  • Assure project delivery within scope, time, budget, quality and other objectives
  • Plan and govern all project lifecycle and supporting activities
  • Assure project delivery in accordance to organization, quality and best practice expectations
  • Measure and report project performance to stakeholders
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and implement required changes
  • Manage project resources and their performance
  • Becoming trusted advisor and advocate for customers’ executive sponsor(s)
  • Leading, driving, and managing change within large, complex, enterprise organizations
  • Removing adoption roadblocks by performing light system configuration and identifying additional professional services engagements
  • Ensuring high levels of impact and client satisfaction with the services rendered

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Practical project management experience in at least 2 projects ideally in the Mining sector
  • At least 5 - 10 years hands-on experience in change management, project management, strategic account management and executive engagement
  • Solid understanding of project management processes and best practices
  • Understanding of contract lifecycle management best practices
  • Procurement and/or contract management functional knowledge
  • Practical people management experience in teams consisting of at least 3-7 people
  • Strong communication, presentation and reporting skills
  • Certifications related to cloud / network infrastructure technologies
  • Technical/Team Leadership Experience 
  • Architectural exposure to Windows, LINUX, UNIX, VMware, Hyper-V, routing, switching and other datacenter technologies
