We are looking for a growth-focused, entrepreneurial, and highly creative design strategist who can help envision and design future opportunities across industries.
You must be able to easily move between spaces- from providing the structure and stimulus to help clients imagine their future and clarify purposeful visions, to leading research and invention processes for new concepts and guiding the creation of highly insightful materials. You need to be comfortable with ambiguity and confident in your ability to guide clients through it.
As a manager, you will draw on your experience to drive project design and delivery for clients facing disruption. You will bring your strategic, creative thinking expertise to land strategic intent, conduct internal and external research, ideate, and prototype potential solutions and services for businesses.
You work closely with designers to develop the visual and textual outputs and work products necessary to deliver value. You are comfortable relating to product leads and C-Suite clients where your insight, precision, and reliability instil confidence. You ensure client expectations are managed through great communication and relationship management skills. You are the custodian of the project keeping an eye on delivery quality, whilst also ensuring project profitability through management of administration details including scheduling, project reporting, and day-to-day project management of the team.
Alongside your project work, a Manager will be expected to participate in proposal development and pitching. Finally, you are an active member of our community, continually contributing to the further development of the practice with a keen interest in the areas of strategy and innovation.
What will you be doing and with whom?
Thought partner to the director / senior manager
Input into the design of programs of work for new client engagements
Co-designing growth strategies and customer propositions with clients
Design and delivery of ethnographic research activities including synthesis and insight discovery
Design and delivery of research into business and customer needs, industry and market shifts, emerging trends and future opportunities
Translating abstract concepts and new business ideas into tangible and engaging artefacts
Develop, test and iterate customer value propositions
Design and deliver ideation workshops
Ensure high standards are maintained in all client interactions and deliverables
Create and maintain good admin practices for your teams
Assist in business development with new and existing clients
Coaching and development of the team

What qualifications and experiences will be relevant?
You will be well-suited for this position if you have:
5 + years relevant experience in a mix of the below:
solving complex problems in large corporations through an in-house role in strategy, growth or innovation
working in design/digital consulting practice or a creative agency
working on customer driven innovation and value proposition development
helped grow, start-up, accelerate new businesses and business concepts
exposure to user research, to better understand user’s problems and to test early concepts
translation of human behaviours into insights that inform concrete concepts and solutions
designing and rapidly testing concepts both digitally and face to face with customers
Qualification in strategy, design, innovation, marketing
