About the Role

Due to sustained growth an opportunity has been created for Delivery Manager & Service Designer in Canberra. However, the role can be based in Melbourne, or Sydney offices as we offer flexibility to the candidates working at Accenture. You will provide strategic analytics-driven consulting to clients to help them create the most innovative experience and improve business operating effectiveness.

Working alongside our partners and as a part of high performing teams you will be responsible for:

  • Execute repeatable core business processes and apply agile framework to support and coordinate with the team

  • Work together with Product Managers to plan the delivery of products

  • Identifying and assessing complex problems, remove blockers for delivery team

  • Analyse and create solution to complex problems

  • Collaborate with team to design and communicate end to end journey of services across transactions, product and business processes.

  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure a high-quality standard of service delivery through qualitative and quantitative data and feedback loops

  • Creating productive working relationships with a large and diverse range of stakeholders, internally and externally.

Set Yourself Apart


  • 5+ years’ experience and background in service design as a discipline and a practice.

  • Frame and tell the story of design solutions.

  • Contribute to the communication of research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.

  • Drive a user-centred design process that spans all phases of development, from framing a service opportunity to coordinating service delivery implementation.

  • Help to evolve the service design practice, pulling in state-of-the-art methods from external and internal expertise.

  • Create communication artifacts that define Service Design as a practice 

  • Proven capability of interfacing with clients, managing their requirements and expectations

  • Significant experience in creating requirements specifications process models

  • Experience working on programs with federal government in a policy or transformation setting


  • Proven capability to manage complex projects with changing requirements and uncertainty

  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment

  • Demonstrated ability to work with distributed (onshore-offshore) teams

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent leadership and management skills

  • Proven capability to be detailed oriented

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
