Role Summary:
Shape, sell and close large deals that are single or multi-service in the world of Oracle. Close sales opportunities resulting in profitable sales growth by leading opportunities from qualification to deal close using deep sales process skills and expertise in Accenture’s offerings. Senior sales capture professional will play a role in originating opportunities in addition to qualification, shaping, selling, negotiating and closing.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Shape, sell and close deals typically greater than $10M that are single or multi service

  • Have a focus or expertise in Oracle

  • Develop and manage the win strategy, the negotiation strategy and the close plan

  • Engage the firm’s leadership as appropriate to shepherd the deal through the firm’s approval process

  • Grow a profitable sales pipeline and/or backlog

  • Articulate a compelling and differentiating value proposition to the client which is also profitable to Accenture

  • Understand Accenture assets, offerings and methodologies to frame and reframe clients' issues


Develop Relationships

  • Proactively generate and build client relationships leading to helping to close existing opportunities and to identify new opportunities

  • Collaborate with sales colleagues to ensure efficient and effective use of business development resources

  • Successfully lead and align a complex network of stakeholders

  • Resolve issues around sales efforts with the client as well as internally

Drive the Sales Process

  • Drive sales opportunities to closure, providing discipline and rigor to the sales process as an expert on sales best practices

  • Establish qualification, win strategy and power map to ensure deal is winnable and deliverable and a competitive advantage is achieved via competitive positioning and commercial deal shaping

  • Support the development and execution of the negotiation strategy

  • Bring the right talent to sales opportunities at the right time

  • Create a compelling vision for the deal outcome, through active listening and using storytelling and immersive experiences
