Job Description
Accenture Song is seeking an experienced Product Designer to lead product design activities across a range of innovative projects, with organisations from a variety of industries – achieving visionary, relevant and impactful outcomes.
In this role you will define the core product vision, strategies, and digital interface design. You have a strong appreciation for service and interaction design, technology, have the ability to elegantly adapt design across touchpoints, and work across the entire end-to-end experience.
Responsibilities
Lead all product design activities and responsible for deliverables throughout the project – planning, shaping, driving, designing and collaborating with clients, stakeholders and the wider project team.
Identify user needs; generate concepts and ideas; validate potential solutions; uncover relevant and actionable customer insights; and create engaging product experiences that illustrates how people might interact with it.
Envision, design and prototype how digital experiences and interactions translate across multiple touchpoints – from conceptual to detailed design fidelity.
Use a variety of data sources and types (qualitative and quantitative) to inform the design and improvement of digital products and experiences.
Scope, plan and conduct concept and user testing sessions – uncovering insights that shape and guide design decisions.
Define, establish and maintain design systems that support and guide product teams in the evolution and scaling of a digital product across its entire lifecycle.
Effectively communicate and guide design concept presentations – explaining, discussing and justifying design decisions.
Work with brand, business and technical stakeholders to scope requirements, use mixed methods and approaches; to bring integrated value to our clients.
Establish, manage, and build client relationships.
Actively participate in new business development efforts by providing expert information in pitch efforts and client meetings.
Assess performance and provide career guidance for those in your project and line management team.
Lead and give feedback in interviews for prospective candidates.
Be a Fjord ambassador, building culture, attending and planning studio and community events, workshops, and conferences.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience
7+ years experience designing digital products for a range of users, business problems and touchpoints
7+ years experience applying best practice UI/UX principles and accessibility standards across a range of digital touch points (i.e. mobile, desktop, etc)
3+ years experience defining, creating, and managing Design Systems, including supporting implementation with clients.
High fluent in translating stakeholder goals, user research, and complex user flows into elegant designs
High dexterity in speed and quality with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Invision, Miro, Mural and Adobe CS
A portfolio that demonstrates your experience and strengths in UX and visual design.
Passion for staying ahead of design best practices, development and trends in web, mobile and app design
Preferred Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
Knowledge and experience with applying user-centered design processes
Understanding of areas of specialization within the wider design landscape, including but not limited to: Design Research; Visual Design; Interaction Design; Service Design; and Content Design
Ability to learn new software quickly; experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Confluence, or JIRA is a plus.
Experience working in cross-functional product development squads
