Key Responsibilities:
As a Workday Data Conversion Lead, you should expect to lead a large, complex Workday Data Conversion effort and have the following responsibilities:
Lead a team of one to four+ Data Conversion consultants on one or more project teams
Work with clients to understand their data requirements across HCM, Finance, Planning and other operational and analytics domains.
Leverage your expertise to recommend the best solution based on the client’s requirements, budget, and timeframe; with the flexibility to adapt the scope as additional needs are identified.
Guide the client through facilitated design sessions and data configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of the customer’s unique business requirements at all stages of the project.
Regularly engage and support the client through all phases of the project, ensuring a smooth transfer from legacy systems to Workday.
Support end to end data solutions from acquisition, cleansing, transformation, load and certainly not least reconciliation.
Actively engage with key Accenture and client stakeholders
Manage onshore and offshore data teams.
Mentor other consultants and analysts, including providing support for shadow assignments.
Actively participate in update training and internal opportunities to share skills and learnings with others within the organization.
Maintain up to date knowledge of Workday and Accenture tools and accelerators.
Demonstrate strong client and stakeholder management to achieve project objectives
Support and drive innovation through the creation of new industry leading methods and assets
Be the driving force behind business and technology transformation projects
Define requirements and create functional and/or technical specifications
Support proof of concepts, estimates, and conceptual designs
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years’ Workday experience
5+ years’ previous consulting experience or congruent professional experience, ideally in data analytics or data conversion in an enterprise platform context (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce) including 1 or more of the following:
Database schemas
Data architecture principles
Data taxonomies
Advanced proficiency in Data management and Integration
Advanced proficiency in Workday Data Mapping & Conversions
Data cleansing
Existing and current Workday Data related certification
Experience in HRIS or Finance fields with Workday related experience in data migration from SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar applications
Deep Experience with XML, XSD, XSLT or XPath and ETL tools (e.g. Clover, Informatica)
People Management experience
Ability and willingness to travel
Preferred Skills:
Keen understanding and demonstration of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Demonstrated experience in Reporting/Analytics
Consulting-based leadership experience on specialized projects with deep, overall knowledge of information systems
Ability to lead teams of consultants and clients to reach the goals around data conversion
Self-starter with proven ability to work within a team-oriented environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change
Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Demonstrated experience with Excel, Visio, MS Project (or equivalent) and PowerPoint
Superior communication (both written and oral) effectiveness with project leadership
