Network Design and Implementation
Design, configure, and deploy network solutions in alignment with organizational requirements.
Implement and manage VMware NSX to provide network virtualization and security.
Utilize VMware HCX to facilitate application migration and workload rebalancing across hybrid clouds.
Deploy and manage Azure VMware Solution for seamless integration with Azure cloud services.
Firewall Management
Configure and administer Fortinet Firewalls to ensure robust network security.
Manage Azure Firewalls to protect cloud resources and maintain compliance with security policies.
Routing and Switching
Design and configure routing and switching protocols to ensure optimal network performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues to maintain high availability.
Load Balancing
Deploy and manage F5 Load Balancers to distribute traffic across multiple servers and ensure reliability.
Utilize Cloud Native Load Balancers to optimize traffic distribution in cloud environments.
Monitoring and Maintenance
Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to maintain service quality.
Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure network infrastructure is up-to-date and secure.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on hands-on implementation and management.
Strong expertise in VMware NSX, VMware HCX, and Azure VMware Solution.
Proven experience with Fortinet Firewalls and Azure Firewalls.
In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols.
Experience with F5 Load Balancers and Cloud Native Load Balancers.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, Fortinet NSE, Azure certifications) are a plus.
Experience with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible).
Knowledge of cloud networking and security best practices.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and platforms.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Additional Requirements:
Security Clearance Requirement: Given the secure nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens with an active security clearance or are eligible for obtaining security clearance.
This requirement ensures that all team members are cleared to handle sensitive information and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security in our operations.
On-call and Shift Expectations: This position is primarily focused on managed services, meaning you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our clients' IT systems (Applications and Infrastructure). Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you may be required to work in shifts to provide continuous support. Additionally, you may need to be on call to address incidents promptly and perform after-hours deployment activities as needed. Your ability to effectively manage these responsibilities will be crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of our services and client satisfaction.
Must be willing to work from Accenture/client office location 3 days a week (2 days WFH)
