What you’ll do
As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be integral to orchestrating CI/CD automation and processes, with a focus on expanding into Application CI/CD and infrastructure as code (IaC) across multi-cloud environments. Your role involves strategic implementation by leveraging tools like Azure DevOps, Terraform and Ansible. Additionally, you'll champion the development of reusable infrastructure and application CI/CD patterns that transcend multi-cloud environments, multiple application technology types, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance self-service workflows and automated governance controls for scalability and reusability.
This role requires candidates to have Australian citizenship with preference to those with baseline security clearance.
Key responsibilities

Qualifications
Here’s what you need
- Deep understanding of industry-standard patterns, architecture principles, and a diverse toolkit of DevOps and IaC technologies
- Clear articulation of technical concepts through documentation and collaborative engagements
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams to enhance engineering tools, systems, and data security measures
- Experience in designing DevOps solutions for enterprise environments, emphasizing self-service workflows and scalable, reusable application CI/CD infrastructure patterns across multi-cloud environments
- Certification in Azure DevOps and Terraform
- Experience integrating application and infrastructure security scanning stages into DevOps pipelines, integration of unit testing frameworks, jFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, automated testing tools, ServiceNow into DevOps pipelines
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and bash to automate repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency
- Experience in creating metrics dashboards and automating quality gates to maintain high standards of reliability and performance
- Familiarity with scaled Agile delivery methodologies, facilitating iterative development and continuous improvement practices
- Previous background in software development / engineering is a must
Bonus points if with
- Proficiency in rapid prototyping and proof of concept development
- Understanding of ISM controls and essential eight principles
- Previous experience working with C4E and CoE is preferred
