Hands on and strong knowledge of Power BI reporting/dashboarding
Experience in large scale migration from an existing visualisation technology like Spotfire to PowerBI migration.
Well conversant with Requirement Gathering process, Secure sign-offs on requirements/asks, Analysis and translation of requirements to actual reports/dashboards implementation
Understand the existing reports/dashboards and create new ones as per the need - Build validations, checks/balances (as applicable) and provide the reports/dashboards
Should be able to properly estimate and deliver the work - call out dependencies/risks/assumptions as per the asks/possible solutions
Strong working knowledge with DAX and Do’s and Don’ts - incorporate best practices for optimal performances
Should be able to quickly turn around any requests from business to implement any changes following the CM processes
Strong understanding of existing dataflows and implement new as per requirement
Experience of working with multiple data sources, semantic layer with technologies like cloudera, snowflake and denodo - flat files, on premise and cloud data sources
Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills, ability to talk in business language
