Role Overview

In this role, you will provide category insight and leadership to advise and influence the client (currently the internal Accenture business). You will provide end-to-end category management, including the performance and management of strategic labour providers, delivery of local and global initiatives through to implementation and end-to-end management of sourcing projects in the contingent labour area.

This role sits in the ANZ Procurement team and will collaborate with local, regional, and global category teams, as well as stakeholders of all levels across the business. You will have the opportunity to partner and share your expertise with teams across the globe and cross-categories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identification and delivery of procurement initiatives, as driven by local stakeholder requirements, category analysis and regional/global initiatives
  • Be the subject matter expertise to client delivery teams on labour services, including leveraging industry intelligence to influence initiatives and strategies
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships in ANZ, including Leadership, HR, and client delivery leads, to understand requirements to develop client-centric solutions
  • Lead and supervise assigned team members
  • Develop, manage, and own relationship with key suppliers, including escalation/issue management
  • Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with suppliers


Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in category management, sourcing and contracting, and supplier relationship management, ideally in HR, labour, or professional services category
  • Preparation, review, and management of Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Ability to review and understand legal documentation, with support from Legal
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively manage stakeholders across all levels
  • Ability to determine trends, identify opportunities and tell stories from analysing data
  • Track record in managing service delivery against business targets
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
