About the role:
This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
You will focus on developing and growing Accenture’s IBM and Red Hat business across Australia and New Zealand, including team leadership, client development and opportunity management through all phases of the deal lifecycle (from qualification, pursuit and close).
High levels of interaction with client and Accenture senior management to generate, explore, drive opportunities, determine pursuit strategies and deal shapes, develop client messaging plans and relationships, negotiate or influence on significant matters and apply industry-leading Cloud and Infrastructure practices to sell profitable technology work.
Serve as the strategic lead and key contact as an entry point for business development into Accenture Technology - Cloud Infrastructure and Engineering for IBM and Red Hat solutions and offerings.
Oversee and play a key Cloud origination role as a campaign contributor, storyteller, evangelist, and prospecting opportunities.
Serve as a conduit into global Technology Cloud and Infrastructure practices and offerings for market intelligence regarding competitive landscape and deal patterns.
Collaborate across different organisational domains and cloud ecosystem partners to define and execute the Cloud sales strategy and bring the best of Accenture Cloud Infrastructure and Engineering offerings to our clients.
You are a proven leader with sales DNA and an entrepreneurial mindset. You will have deep understanding of IBM and Red Hat solutions and a background of successful sales experience in IT Professional Services or platforms as well as portfolio management experience. Your skillset and previous experience will also include:
Sales Pursuit Management, Client Relationship and/or delivery experience
Strong network and relationships in the IBM and Red Hat Ecosystem
Demonstrable success in building new propositions and go to market strategies
Experience in IBM and Red Hat Cloud Solutions Architecture, Automation and DevOps, Cloud and Infrastructure Business and Value Realisation Cases. Certifications in any of the platforms are highly regarded.
Proven track record of building and leading teams to meet and exceed sales and delivery metrics.
Positive attitude, high motivation level and a passion for growth and business building.
Experience developing sales territories, campaigns: identifying and qualifying opportunities; deal shaping and negotiation.
Technical acumen blended with ability to communicate business value.
Experience in working (or partnering with) a Top tier Consulting firm
