About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned sales executive with a proven track-record of prospecting, qualifying leads, assessing customer needs and driving sales pursuits, to sell AWS-based cloud solutions to enterprise clients.
The AWS Sales Lead works with key Accenture and AWS stakeholders and clients to promote AWS-based plays and offerings. This role will drive the market development initiatives, execute AWS-based sales enablement activities, and manage and grow pipeline. This position plays an important client, AWS, and Accenture account team facing role, responsible for building credibility with key internal and external clients by directly supporting client sales teams to drive AWS-based cloud services. This role can be based in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne or Perth.
You will understand cloud technologies - from migration and infrastructure through AI, Analytics and IoT - with a focus on AWS services. You will bring extensive large-scale IT experience and strong sales/sales support/pre-sales-architecture experience.
Extensive proven, successful sales experience in IT Professional Services and Cloud platforms
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
Positive attitude and collaborative style, high motivation level and a passion for building a business
Ability to articulate and present a compelling value proposition via customer meetings and product demonstrations, both in-person, and via the web
Experience developing a territory: identifying and qualifying opportunities; pursuing conversion of qualified leads to customers with monthly recurring revenue
Technical acumen blended with ability to communicate business value
Knowledge / experience in AWS-based cloud solutions. AWS certifications will be considered beneficial.
Experience working in an industry vertical, ie: Healthcare and Public Sector; Resources; Products
Experience in working or partnering with a top tier Consulting firm
Strong network and relationships in the AWS ecosystem
