Site Reliability Engineer

As a Site Reliability Engineer you will:
Help our clients across a lifecycle of services—from idea to operate and ongoing refinement
Deploy, support and monitor new and existing services, platforms, and applications
Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health.
Provide performance tuning/recommendations for mission critical platforms and infrastructure
Work in close collaboration with the development teams to streamline their daily development and release processes
Practice blameless post-mortems and provide sustainable incident response Implement automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
Core focus on ensuring the services meet their 'ilities' and assisting in resolving incidents, issues and most importantly continuous improvement.
Designing and deploying infrastructure and applications on one or more Public Cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP)
Proven ability to write programs using a high-level programming language like: Java, Angular, Python, etc
Experience and understanding of agile principles, continuous integration, delivery and testing and tooling Experience with automation tools Experience with configuration management systems like: Ansible
Understanding of standard networking protocols and components such as: HTTP, DNS, ECMP, TCP/IP, ICMP, the OSI Model, Subnetting and Load Balancing strategies.
Familiarity with distributed systems is a plus including: the CAP Theorem, Microservices, and the Twelve Factor App.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, would be an asset
