Working for Accenture Consulting, you would join a group of financial services specialised consulting practitioners. As practitioners, our consultants focus on designing client solutions. Key responsibilities of the role include:
A consultant’s domain is defined by the unique combination of that person’s commercial banking industry and management or technology consulting knowledge
Working with financial institutions that offer banking products and services to organizations, including small to medium sized enterprises and large corporations.
Help lenders and servicers transform their business and operations to drive profitable growth, differentiated customer experience and operational efficiency.
As a part of Accenture’s commercial banking industry consulting practice, you will be at the core of our banking client’s engagements. Often in concert with Accenture’s other specialised practices, you will deliver tangible outcomes. Like everyone in our practice, you will measure your success by the lasting improvements our clients have achieved.
Interface with cross functional client teams (global and local) to perform business analysis and project management activities.
Business Analysis: Gather facts (through research, interviewing, surveys, etc.), analyse the client's business processes, draw conclusions, prepare final reports, and give presentations.
Business and Process definition, analysis and prioritization, High level business solution design, which may cover aspects of customer journey design, policy design, business process design, business procedure design, organization / people design and high-level functional systems design (e.g. architecture, use cases)
Evaluate relative costs, benefits and obstacles of potential solutions
Implementation planning and business readiness
Project Management: Define project scope and goals. Planning activity including approach definition, work breakdown, sequencing and milestone definition. Estimate resource effort and cost budgets. Resource Management. Identify dependencies internal to the project and externally to other projects and business areas. Support governance activities such as steering committee
Project Management and Business Analysis Certifications are desirable
3-5 years of project experience in Corporate/ Commercial Banking transformation programs
Candidates should have solutions experience in one or more of the following Commercial Lending areas: Business Process Optimization, Credit & Portfolio Analytics, Commercial Loan Product, Commercial Lending Sales Process, Loan / Lease Origination Systems, Loan Servicing, Risk Management; End to End Processing
Experience with the design and build of industry-leading Commercial Loan Origination Systems (LOS’)
Experience with one or more of the following Competencies: Digitization / Imaging, Business Architecture, Business Process Mapping, Business Requirements Development / Gap Analysis, Business Strategy Development and Execution, Change Management, Program / Project Management (PMO), Quality Assurance, Regulatory Compliance, Risk
Candidates should have gained their banking industry knowledge either through consulting engagements with banks or as part of an internal team working on a “change the bank” agenda. A demonstrable focus on tangible outcomes over conceptual knowledge is a must have.
