Employee Relations and Policies Specialist

Employee Relations are the interactions we have with, and messages we send to, our people throughout the employee lifecycle. Employee Relations are key focus points in Accenture’s culture setting, leadership, people management and policy approaches.
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join the Team at Accenture to support Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). You will be responsible for providing specialist advice to the whole of HR, and employees throughout ANZ; Working in partnership with local Employee Relations and Employment Law, and our global partners including Corporate Investigations and Global Policy. Consistently provide timely assessments and advice that is accurate, and aligned culturally, strategically and operationally, and is compliant with Accenture policies, Employment Agreements, Modern Awards and statutory requirements.
Be a specialist assessor and advisor in matters throughout the employee lifecycle including: employee terms and conditions of employment, employer obligations, health and safety, employee wellbeing, Making our Conduct Count and managing conduct issues; as well as other complex matters under the guidance of senior members of the Employee Relations team
Advise and support HR Partners in conducting investigations and recognise when investigations are not required
Have working knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand employment law framework, relevant Modern Awards, Accenture’s Employment Agreements and HR policies, and the ability to accurately interpret, advise and educate
Management of, and advisory on, salary continuance and workers' compensation claims including regular liaison with insurers and HR Partners
Promotion of programs led by Employee Relations, Health and Wellbeing
Research, reporting, and identification of trends; and related proposals
Delivering educational presentations, including developing materials
Understanding of health and safety principles and how they relate to employee relations Confidently conduct workplace investigations in a fair, reasonable and diligent manner locally, and in partnership with Employee Relations Manager and Global Sensitive Matters teams
Experience & qualifications Required:
Relevant education and experience in Human Resources or related discipline
Minimum of 4 years demonstrated experience in award interpretation, conducting fair & timely internal investigations, providing advice & assistance to the business in managing employee related risks.
Strong understanding of employee legislation
Exposure to work, health and safety and related case management
Reasonable level of understanding of Accenture’s major business areas
