The Accounts Payable  Team Lead is responsible for the delivery of the off-shore accounts payables activities for client for specific markets. Please note this role requires applicants to be fluent in English & Mandarin

  • Manage activities performed by supervised Payable teams within the DC. 
  • Oversees processing of all invoice categories and types and the associated reporting, the resolution of disputed/open items, and the provision of call center support for vendor and Project queries/issue.
  • Makes sure that period, quarter and annual close requirements from own team are met in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of client’s financial accounting policies and generally accepted accounting principles, internal control standards, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Maintain a thorough awareness and understanding of client’s business activities, Accounts Payable processes, and financial systems. Interacts and participates in client work groups, and where appropriate systems development projects, and other similar activities.
  • Ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of information, records or processes associated with services provided.
  • Ensure full compliance with Project’s Code of Business Ethics, Policy on Business Conduct and Accenture’s ethical standards.
  • Willingly accept work outside the normal scope or responsibility

Stakeholder Management

  • The secondary point of contact between Accenture and the client senior management on service level requirements, service issues, and customer satisfaction relating to Accounts Payable.
  • Interacts with Accounts Payable Process Owner in client’s center.
  • Participates in service delivery meetings providing status on Accounts Payable Team’s performance, potential issues, and the like as well as providing input on continuous improvement and issue resolution.

Service and Cost Management

  • Oversees the service delivery for Accounts Payable processes performed on behalf of Project.
  • Accountable for meeting service baseline requirements for all Accounts Payable off-shore services.
  • Overall responsibilities for ensuring continuous improvement in the services provide by Accenture by effective business management, the exercise of sound financial judgment and the exchange of information.
  • Review data, obtain and share knowledge on best business practices.  Disseminates knowledge within team and across the engagement as appropriate.

Team Leadership

  • Maintain good relations with Accounts Payable employees and continuity of appropriately qualified personnel to ensure services are delivered.
  • Responsible for the ongoing development of staff in the Accounts Payable team.  Mentors and coaches Accounts Payable team members on development of skills required to deliver the applicable service baselines and facilitate career development.

Other Features of Role

  • Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required during peak periods

  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively as part of a team, maintains a clear understanding of how activities and processes within scope impact the activities and processes of other departments and service teams across the engagement.
  • Ensures confidentiality, integrity and availability of information, records or processes associated with services provided. 
  • Ensures full compliance with Project’s Code of Business Ethics, Policy on Business Conduct and Accenture ethical standards.
