Profile/Role Description- Consultant

 

Change Management professionals provide knowledge and experience related to the skills, structures, tools and support mechanisms needed to manage change and to foster an environment conducive to sustaining that change.

 

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Co-design, plan and deliver fast-paced, innovative change solutions using Accenture best practice assets and tools
  • Plan and manage an end users journey as part of a Business Transformation Program
  • Developing strong business relationships with clients
  • Developing and delivering business-led/ user centred change management activities required to support successful implementation of a project
  • Developing and conducting change impact assessments and communication and engagement plans and materials
  • Developing training needs analysis, curriculum plans, training materials and training deployment plans
  • Developing business readiness approaches/plans and measuring outcomes from readiness activities
  • The implementation of business transition activities
  • Working to deliverable dates and effectively managing workload priorities to overall work plan requirements
  • Identifying risks and issues associated with work content and workplan requirements
  • Support growing client opportunities and business development activities to help expand our practice– with existing and/or new clients
  • Takes initiative and proactively identifies and brings new ideas and innovation to clients

  • Leading and managing small diverse teams, client and/or Accenture

Basic Qualifications and Requirements (must be specific and measurable)

  • Bachelor's Degree is essential Minimum 3-5 years Change Management experience
  • Change Management certification is highly desirable but not essential
  • Working successfully with business and project stakeholders · desirable in consulting environment
  • Must be able to travel, as project work is conducted on client premises
  • Desirable experience with Public Service organisations at a local, state or federal government level is highly desirable
  • Experience with human centred design

Eligibility for an Australian Government Security Clearance is mandatory for this role (must be an Australian Citizen) and current Baseline security clearance would be highly advantageous

Qualifications

Preferred Skills

Skills and hands on experience implementing portions of organisational change programs related to enabling systems and process change.

 

This may include but is not limited to:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead small diverse teams ·
  • Familiarly with Project Management approaches, tools, phases of the project lifecycle. Experience with work planning, status reporting, issue / risk management
  • Ability to adapt your style and approach to meet stakeholder needs

Professional Skill Requirements

  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to manage expectations and deliverables throughout the change process
  • Proven success in collaborating and contributing to a team-oriented environment ·
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills ·
  • Ability to negotiate and influence to achieve a successful outcome ·
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking ·
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement pragmatic business solutions ·
  • Ability to work effectively with ambiguity, being flexible to change approach/direction, as required
  • Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Powerpoint and Excel
