A typical day for our Consultants:

 

Articulate and develop the value propositions/offerings, solutions and benefits of Advanced Analytics

Ability to build strong industry relationships to enhance Accenture Applied Intelligence reputation in the market

Proven history of generating incremental sales pipeline via demand generation and organic growth of existing clients

The ability to carry out end to end sales activities (develop proposals, present offers, negotiate, and close opportunities)

Working with senior clients (C-Level)

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 

  • BS in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, 
  • Extensive hands-on experience in gathering, curating and preparing appropriate representative data for building machine learning and statistical models. 
  • Experience in deploying machine learning algorithms in analytics-enabled digital transformations.  
  • Extensive hands on experience in at least one scientific programming language (preferably R or Python).  
  • Proficient in Agile project management, version control, shell scripting and high performance or distributed computing platforms (e.g., Apache Spark, graph databases and GPU based computing platforms). 
  • Experience leading a team or project, with client engagement exposure.
  • Past experience with tools in the predictive analytics domain and planning tools.
  • An appreciation of underlying business fundamentals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Master or PhD degree in a quantitative discipline: Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, etc. 
  • Deep understanding and practical experience in common statistics and machine learning frameworks including probability theory, Bayesian methods, neural networks, and reinforcement learning.   
  • Experience with applying principles of Natural Language Processing (NLP) 
  • Experience in leading small analytics teams.
