Job Description


We are looking for experienced data architects in our technology advisory practice. The candidates will combine deep technology expertise and industry-specific insights to transform our clients’ ability to achieve their business outcomes using innovative technologies.


A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Understand clients' industry landscape and business in the context of technology and customer trends
  • Define the vision for data driven company
  • Define the data governance structure including organisation, roles & responsibilities, etc
  • Define use cases on data to drive value to the business
  • Define the future state data solution architecture
  • Provide expert advice on data products selection, change management and other advisory services
  • Create business case for development of data architecture and lifecycle strategies, engineering solutions, estimates, and implementation roadmap
  • Maintains knowledge of evolving technology trends and applies those to develop innovative approaches to deliver value for our clients.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in sales and delivery of technology consulting work
  • Experience in client facing skilled base consulting work to build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and act as a trusted adviser
  • Experience in architecting end to end big data solutions on at least one of the followings: AWS, Azure, GCP and delivery estimation
  • One or more data modeling techniques and tools across all phases of the lifecycle
  • Data Lifecycle management including data retention, archive and purge planning
  • Data Security including protecting from theft, inappropriate use, conformance with regulatory requirements
  • Hands on experience of one or more key technology areas (e.g. Oracle, Hadoop stack, MSSQL, Informatica, Ab Initio, Tibco, Spark, Kafka)  
  • Solid skills in data management languages such as SQL; database management, administration & tuning; commonly used tools e.g. QlikView, SQL Developer
  • Understanding of key infrastructure elements, and key performance and tuning areas
  • Exposure to industry frameworks such as DAMA
  • Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable
  • Minimum of bachelor’s Degree

  • Proven track record in client relationship development
  • Experience leading or managing small teams effectively and planning/structuring consulting work

  • Comfort with complexity and ambiguity, globally connected and locally relevant, naturally collaborative, bold to change, to learn and stay relevant, non-negotiable standards of high performance
