The Products operating group serves a set of increasingly interconnected consumer-relevant industries: Consumer Goods & Services; Retail; Life Sciences; Airlines & Travel Services and Freight & Logistics. These industries, while disparate, all have a direct impact on the environments in which their customers live and are central to sustainable economic growth in developed and developing economies.

 

Management Consulting professionals design and implement process and change interventions that integrate strategy, technology and people to enable process improvements that create value for clients. In addition to industry knowledge, our consulting SMEs have specialist skillset aligned to one of our 8 practice areas: Talent & Organisation, Supply Chain & Operations, Customer & Channels, CFO & Enterprise Value (CFO&EV), Technology Advisory, Application Advisory, Network Services and Video & Content.

 

Our CFO&EV team helps Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) and Finance leaders within our clients’ organisations leverage leading edge Digital Finance operating models, processes and tools to transform their Finance functions. This may include designing and implementing innovative new capabilities, identifying and implementing initiatives to reduce the overall cost base and increase process efficiency, or improving the quality of information with a clear focus on driving insights and improving decision-making across the business. We achieve this by combining our finance capability with our functional, technology, digital, analytics and change management expertise to drive improvements and deliver long-term sustainable value.

 

Due to an exciting growth and capability growth phase, we are seeking experienced Senior Managers and Directors to play a pivotal role delivering CFO&EV projects across Products.  This role requires consulting SMEs who are agile and keen to work within a collaborative, high performing culture and team.

 Key responsibilities include:
  • Shape, sell and deliver CFO & Enterprise Value engagements and programmes of work
  • Translate strategic direction and business objectives established by clients into holistic strategies and actions
  • Provide inspirational leadership to our teams, helping our junior practitioners to grow and develop their careers
  • Provide differentiated points of view and perspectives to our clients on ways Accenture can solve their most pressing challenges
  • Collaborate across Accenture’s diverse businesses – including Strategy, Digital, Technology and Outsourcing - as needed to bring the best solutions to our clients
  • Leverage Accenture’s global methods, tools, and assets to design and deliver outcomes

Professional experience & qualifications

  • Proven experience at a similar career level within a top tier consulting firm, providing Finance Transformation services for clients (e.g. Global Business Services, F&A Outsourcing, Order to Cash, Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Financial Planning & Analysis, Working Capital Optimization, Zero Based Budgeting, Business Insights & Reporting)
  • Proven history of working successfully with C-level leadership
  • Strong project management and organisational skills including the ability to shape and deliver programmes of work
  • Ability to develop, maintain and influence strong internal and client relationships
  • Strong people development ethos and skillset
  • Proven track record in working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Keen interest in ongoing learning and personal development around future of finance and digital finance topics
  • Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) will be an advantage
  • Exposure to technology delivery programs and an understanding of how digital solutions are delivered (e.g. Robotics Process Automation) will be an advantage
  • Operational Finance or Finance Consulting experience in one or more Products industries (Consumer Goods & Services; Retail; Life Sciences; Airlines & Travel Services; Freight & Logistics) will be an advantage
