The Ecosystems Products and Services function leads the commercial process for sourcing third-party supplier services for Accenture Operations. This position works with Accenture’s client account teams supporting supplier selection and contracting where third-party suppliers have been identified as a critical part of the overall client solution and will be focal point for building Ecosystems Products and Services brand awareness in ANZ with the client account teams and other Corporate Functions.

 

This role works across Accenture’s operating groups with deal shapers, procurement plus, client engagement and supplier alliance teams in shaping deals; specifically, the supplier components of these deals. The role works with our client deals teams and suppliers to; manage supplier selection and negotiation, ensure supplier due diligence has been completed, identify and assess supplier risks, and drive mitigations through the supplier subcontracts. The role holder’s primary focus will be on client deals originating in ANZ and building relations with other Corporate Functions, including Legal and Procurement Plus. However, there will be opportunities to support deals in other countries as business demands allow.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Accenture client account teams, deal shapers, solution architects and procurement plus in shaping deals; specifically, the required 3rd Party Supplier services
  • Actively participate in client proposal development and supplier service definition, as required
  • Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risk associated with 3rd Party Supplier products, software & services
  • Undertake supplier due diligence and complete contract scoring
  • Review alternative options to supplier issues and recommend solutions
  • Develop and maintain high quality collaborative relationship across a range of global and local 3rd Party Suppliers
  • Work with wider Accenture organisation to identify the suppliers which can deliver the required products & services at the best price, and in compliance with the Terms and Conditions required by Accenture to support its business
  • Raise awareness and profile of Ecosystem Products and Services Teams services and capabilities within ANZ.

Educational Qualification

  • Must have
    • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Good to have
    • IACCM, CIPS or other supplier domain related qualification

Skills & Work Experience

  • Must have
    • 5 - 7 years’ prior experience of IT 3rd Party Management
    • Proven ability to negotiate high value contracts and resolve complex issues with global 3rd party suppliers
    • Proven ability in Supplier Selection and Pricing constructs as part of client pursuits that include outsourced products, software & services
  • Good to have
    • Operations and Delivery of client solutions experience
    • Knowledge of Infrastructure and Software as a Service categories

Other requirements

 

Travel:  The role will be primary based in the India with a potential to travel other countries for short periods in line with business demands, therefore the successful candidate should be willing to travel.
