Talent Strategist Manager

 

Key Responsibilities

The Talent Strategist Manager works with leadership to primarily deliver Accenture’s Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) Strategy and the Talent Strategy for the ANZ business. They provide subject matter expertise across the inclusion and diversity strategic priorities to create an inclusive work culture across the geography. They partner with other HR groups to ensure relevancy of programs and initiatives and alignment with the business needs.

Inclusion and Diversity

  • Work with the I&D Steering Committee to define the I&D strategy
  • Act as the main point of contact to the HR business partners and centre of expertise to provide feedback on local needs for I&D related initiatives
  • Translating the global I&D strategy into the local priorities, and oversee global I&D programs at the local level
  • Program manage the operation of the I&D steering committee, including associated budget
  • Shape local solutions to address I&D priorities, leadership development requirements and to distill the core values and culture we aspire to
  • Define key targets, metrics and actions to meet the I&D strategic objectives
  • Mobilize people advocate network to drive employee engagement

Talent Strategy

  • Contribute to the development of a long-term Talent Strategy and work with the HR teams to define the detailed execution plan required to deliver the objectives of the Strategy
  • Focus on developing and/or program managing innovative talent strategies that address the diverse needs of our business and our people
  • Collaborate with the broader people and culture team to foster the acceptance of initiatives under the Talent Strategy and drive and programme manage their implementation
  • Acting as a point of contact for talent management issues in the region
  • Working with the broader HR stakeholders to ensure HR solutions meet local HR requirements, driving localisation where essential and adjustments in case of changing business conditions
  • Build HR program/project and change management capability by defining a set of standards and designing, developing and deploying change management and communication toolkits
  • Monitor overall effectiveness of HR programs and services by monitoring key talent metrics to identify and analyze people related issues, root causes, and possible levers for solutions
  • Maintain expert knowledge of their specialty area by researching best practices, monitoring legal developments, evaluating emerging trends, keeping appraised of technological advancements and conducting benchmark comparisons

EDUCATION

  • Post Graduate/ Graduate degree with focus in Human Resource Management, or related field, preferable

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Experience as an HR program manager, specifically in taking strategy through to programme / project execution
  • Experience working in the field of I&D and experience overseeing I&D and talent management initiatives / programs.
  • Knowledge and experience working with strategic planning methodologies, processes and tools, including development and working to work plans
  • Broad knowledge of HR processes and extensive knowledge of inclusion and diversity practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project and program management skills including planning, execution and follow-through
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, relationship management, negotiation and people skills
  • Strong influencing and coaching skills, with an ability build and sustain relationships at all levels
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team in a virtual work environment
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across different functions and develop new networks as appropriate
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly synthesize new subject matters
