Role Title:   Solution Architect

Country: Australia (Sydney or Melbourne)


Role Summary: 


Solution Architect will be part of the Solution Innovation team in ANZ and will join Sales and Opportunity team to understand client expectations, market & industry dynamics, to architecture solution which will leverage the best and the greatest of Accenture offering & assets and to shape value proposal Business Outcome led.


Solution Architect will be judged around the following main points:

  • SA has a seat at the at the table of our Clients
  • SA knows the BPO market and competition and can build differentiated solutions
  • SA understands our vision for Operations and can integrate full spectrum of assets into Solutions
  • SA can confidently articulate the future of Operations and the journey roadmap for the strategy
  • SA can build a Client journey to As-A-Service and the Operations model of the Future
  • SA can understand the competitive landscape and know how the competition will position their solution vs Accenture

The SA will join the global network of solution architects and be based in Australia.


He / She will need to build strong network within Sales & Account team.


He / She will execute Accenture strategy by driving innovation and rotating our business to the New.


He / She will drive innovation into the selected domain(s) or cross industry service lines, shifting the client from traditional to Digital transformation.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ability to have a seat at the table with the client
  • Ability to shape a C-level value proposal including the latest and the greatest of Accenture, highly differentiative and compelling proposal fitting to client expectations and addressing client challenged
  • Ability to drive true solution differentiation through automation, analytics, liquid, cloud, technology stack, As a Service, etc
  • Ability to define indicative Business Case at early stage of the Sales process with minimal data and guidance
  • Ability to understand the ANZ competitive landscape and how the competition will position their solution vs Accenture
  • Ability to confidently articulate the future of Operations and the journey roadmap for the strategy
  • Think out of the box / Forward Thinking
  • Move out of its comfort zone to try new things and drive innovation
  • Ability to manage complex deal, complex situation
  • Ability to negotiate with multiple stakeholders, drive consensus, take difficult decision when required
  • Can stand up and be pro-active
  • Business Process Services in Resources & Utilities Knowledge
  • Analytics knowledge
  • Automation knowledge (nice to have)
  • Cloud knowledge (nice to have)

Functional domain Expertise:

  • At least one domain Utilities, Finance, Insurance etc or cross functional domain like Customer operations, Marketing Operations, HR Operations, F&A etc.
  • Experience and exposure to the domain from an ANZ context

Other skills:

  • Automation in the domain(s)
  • Use of Analytics in the domain(s)
  • Leadership skills
  • Expert with MS excel, and PowerPoint is a must have
