Business Process Services professionals work on projects across a range of business processes, business applications and information technology.  They may provide technology services, such as application management, infrastructure management and systems integration, or they may deliver business process services, including finance and accounting, procurement and human resources. Depending on the role, Business Process Services professionals may be based at a client’s office or in one of Accenture’s 50 delivery centers around the world. 
  
The Position:
 
The Technology Solutions Lead for SRM is a dynamic role responsible for driving pieces of our Procurement SRM offering to our internal and/or commercial Procurement Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) clients.  Within the role, there are 3 primary groupings of responsibilities corresponding to the different “jobs” the Manager may be asked to perform:
  • Supplier Manager (SM)
  • Client Program Lead (CPL)
  • Strategic Program Lead (SPL)   
 
Job Responsibilities:
 
The Supplier Manager job is unique to the internal Accenture client and has responsibilities for managing 1 or more strategic supplier relationships.  These suppliers are typically core to Accenture Operations commercial offerings (e.g. HR BPO, Supply Chain BPO, Procurement BPO, etc.) or our corporate functions (HR, Contingent Labor, etc.): 
  • Managing the supplier relationship across all in-scope SRM services including Performance Management, Risk and contractual compliance, Buying Support and Financial Management
  • Client and supplier stakeholder management
  • Scorecard design and development
  • Supplier continuous improvement
  • Savings realization
 
The Client Program Lead job is for both internal and commercial clients:
  • Day-to-day SRM delivery responsibility (scope, timeliness, quality, costs, savings) across all in-scope services and suppliers for 1 or more clients
  • Account Management and Front office (aka Practice) relationship management and coordination
  • Status reporting
  • Backoffice coordination and management
  • Supplier Segmentation
  • Providing SRM subject matter expertise to Front and Back Office functions
  • People management of Supplier Managers, Backoffice and support resources
The Strategic Program Lead job is for both internal and commercial clients:
  • Program management and accountability for a portfolio of clients receiving SRM services.  A portfolio could be organized around a geography, operating group or other client group.
  • Proactively evaluating opportunities to increase the number of internal or external client receiving SRM services.
  • Sales support including on-site or delivery center presentations, supporting RFP responses, solutioning (e.g. SOW) deliverables, estimating.
  • Business case development and representation
  • Leading mobilization activities and transitioning to Client Program Lead’s
  • People management of Client Program Lead’s

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Supplier Management experience, Procurement experience or experience in a supplier operational capacity
  • Minimum 7 years business operations management.
  • Minimum 7 years of Project Management experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with virtual teams 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Quality Program experience and leadership
  • Financial Operations experience (PO Mgmt, Invoicing, Internal finance)
  • Sales Support and mobilization experience (Deal shaping, estimating, planning and execution of mobilization activities)
  • Minimum 10 years experience working with and influencing multiple stakeholders including senior leadership
Professional Skills: 
  • Identify client’s strategic and tactical goals and align them to where software can solve their challenges and align to their corporate startegy. Coaching experience
  • Strong communication skills – ability to drive effective communications with senior internal and client leadership;
  • Provide leadership and influence in preparing initial proposals, continuous technical and business support throughout the sales cycle and implementation.
  • Prepare RFI/RFP responses, deliver presentations at client meetings, conferences and industry events.
  • Lead discovery and requirements gathering workshops to design actionable client solutions that are aligned with the core product offering. This includes as is / to be design sessions and documentation.
  • Designing concepts, developing proof-of-concept solutions to demonstrate software as a business solution, highlighting benefits and differentiation.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities directly contributing to the SRM solution roadmap.
  • SME in product, industry and regulatory changes, related to SRM and suggest best practices based on technology solutions to stakeholders (internal and client) at all levels.
  • Provide our clients with strategic and tactical change management support
  • Ability to gather market intelligence: competitor analysis, including new technologies, niche consultancies and content providers; alliances; industry events
     
 Travel Requirements:
  • This position requires travel of approximately 30% to multiple customer locations
