The Talent & Organisation team works with clients to tackle both transformational and tactical change programs, helping prepare their organisations to adopt change and sustain it to realise business outcomes. We work with clients on anything from IT transformations, operating model changes, mergers and acquisitions and organisational restructures, planning and implementing programs including change management, communications and stakeholder engagement, learning and organisation design and transition. Our analysis, insight and recommendations enable our clients to achieve sustainable transformation and business objectives.
 
Responsibilities
Working with the Products Talent & Organisation Practice Lead the successful candidate will form part of our Talent and Organisation practice, helping our clients deliver their most important business change projects and business outcomes.
 
This role will work with clients across Australia and New Zealand, and working alongside our clients means periods of travel are required.
 
Job Description
A professional undertaking this position within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
  • Providing uniquely differentiated consulting expertise to our clients by helping them to develop and deliver world class change management business transformation and talent solutions
  • Leading client discussions to identify and shape new change management solutions, transformation and talent opportunities and sharing examples of Accenture’s points of view, assets, tools and latest thinking with clients
  • Discussing and shaping complex, fast-paced, innovative change programs and helping clients’ functions assess their change and operating model, change capability, operations and technology
  • Leading large teams in all aspects of talent solution implementation and supporting teams of analysts and consultants to design and deliver custom-built talent solutions 
  • Building sustainable client relationships and your network across the practice
  • Leading business development, sales efforts and internal capability development to continue to expand our practice
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree is essential, MBA or Master in HR are desirable

 

Experience:

  • Prior external consulting experience in a management role
  • Knowledge and management role experience related to the skills, structures, tools and support mechanisms needed to manage change and to foster an environment conducive to sustaining that change
  • Experience in leading Business Readiness; Organisation Change Capability; Change Management; Change Measurement; Change Strategy and Solution Planning; Communication Planning and Management; Job and Role Design; Journey Management; Business and Workforce Transformation, Talent Solutions, Leadership Alignment; Organisation Design and Architecture; Change Enablement; Stakeholder Management; Behaviour Change; Organization Change Strategy; Change Analytics
  • Has a solid understanding of the key industry hot topics including those relating to delivering and adopting change management, journey management and talent practices
  • Previous experience in shaping, planning and executing large programs across combined client and consulting firm teams
  • Previous experience of identifying, designing and shaping new client opportunities and a natural ability to build strong and sustainable relationships 
  • Significant experience of deal origination, shaping and sales delivery at a program level
  • A drive and determination to lead, coach and develop others and share your knowledge and talent with others 
  • Experience in delivering high quality and insightful client presentations and deliverables
  • Experience of developing thought leadership and leading business development activities
  • Experience working with retail, consumer goods and services or travel and transport clients is highly regarded but not essential

  • Ability to proactively drive and facilitate client discussions, workshops and create consensus
  • Expertise in building client relationships, networks and managing business development activities 
  • Ability to work effectively with ambiguity, being flexible to changes in approach or direction, as required
  • Proficiency in MS Office – Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • A desire to travel and work away from home (Monday to Friday as required)
