The Deal Execution Senior Manager contributes to profitable sales growth as a member of an opportunity deal team. The Deal Execution Senior Manager will typically fulfil one or more of the following roles on the deal; sales strategy, proposal development, commercial deal shaper, negotiator and/or bid manager.


Key Responsibilities:


Contribute to Sales Strategy

  • Create sales campaign strategy to develop winning, and compelling win strategies and proposals 

  • Develop sales capture tactics, competitive analysis, and teaming strategies that balance risk and reward 

    Support sales proposal development through the creation of proposal materials (RFI, RFPs etc.) and other key events in the sales process including oral presentations, and site visits

    Support commercial deal shaping with product or offering positioning, key contracting terms/conditions, deal shaping and financial structuring, including pricing strategies and/or performance-based contracting elements 

    Support deal negotiation

  • Support the development and execution of the negotiation strategy with the Negotiator or Sales Lead for Accenture’s deals 

  • Support the development of contract materials (e.g. Master Service Agreement, Contract Schedules, Statements of Work etc.) 

    Support bid management

  • Assist the Bid Manager to coordinate all the activities involved in executing the sales campaign driven from the win strategy 

  • Support the development of the required internal approvals and to ensure the deal complies with internal controls, including deal and delivery quality assurance processes

  • Ensure capture strategy and proposal activities comply with internal controls, ensuring corporate and internal reviews are conducted

Experience, Attributes and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience selling IT services to Fortune 500 companies for infrastructure consulting, infrastructure outsourcing services; globally delivered data centre, cloud, security, network, workplace, service management services

  • Minimum 5 years in professional services negotiation role

  • Industry Specific Sales Experience: across all industries with a focus on Financial Services and/or Products (retail, manufacturing, travel etc)

  • Experience building relationships with C-level executive clients

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

  • Business acumen, negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills

  • Flexibility for interstate travel to support deals outside home office location

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree
