Role requirements
  • Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying highly scalable integration (API / iPaaS) solutions in cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
  • Experience in designing (architecting), implementing, and managing integration solutions, using a SOA, Microservices and API based approaches.
  • Experience in defining the data integration strategies.
  • Experience in developing and implementing architecture standards and methods (solution patterns).
  • Strong ability to architect solutions to business problems.
  • Strong development experience with JAVA/J2EE technologies.
  • Experience with Apigee, Axway, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica or with any other API/iPaaS management tool.
  • Experience in implementing API Security, Access Control (OAuth/SAML, Web SSO, SSL etc.) and proxy management.
  • Experience in API modelling languages and annotations such as Swagger, YAML or similar technologies.
  • Experience using SOAP UI, Postman and any other API service testing tools.
  • Good understanding of web technologies (HTTP) and TCP/IP Protocols.
  • Experience working in DevOps environment/tools.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).
  • Experience in other programming in diverse technologies and languages, including Java, en Source web languages such as Javascript, PHP and Python.
  • Experience with Test-driven development (TDD) and behaviour-driven development (BDD).
  • Good understanding of Software Delivery Lifecycle.
  • AWS, MS Azure certifications are an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related discipline.
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills, able to look for the root cause and solve issues quickly.
  • Experience planning, forecasting and effectively risk manage delivery epics.
  • Experience working in a similar IT environment: IT company, development house, consulting firm etc.
  • Experience working in distributed (on and offshore) development teams preferred but not essential.
Professional Skill Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent Leadership and teaming skills.
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment.
  • Willingness to contribute to a high-performing and motivated workgroup.
  • Interest in the development of others – coaching and teaching junior integration architects/developers to expand their skills and capabilities.
