Business Process Services professionals work on projects across a range of business processes, business applications and information technology.  They may provide technology services, such as application management, infrastructure management and systems integration, or they may deliver business process services, including finance and accounting, procurement and human resources. Depending on the role, Business Process Services professionals may be based at a client’s office or in one of Accenture’s 50 delivery centers around the world. 


The Position:

The Client Services Delivery Associate Manager (Client Delivery Lead) will be responsible for delivery leadership and will develop an in-depth understanding of the customer's business, structure, challenges and requirements within the context of the customer's business sector. He/she will manage internal and external resources to optimize client impact within project budget, timeline and deliverables and agreed upon scope and ensure client satisfaction through project delivery. He/she will also effectively manage complex projects in ambiguous environments and assist with creating and closing proposals generated by leadership.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the university's business, structure, challenges and

  • requirements within the context of the university sector

  • Ensure client satisfaction through project delivery

  • Effectively manage complex project in ambiguous environment

  • Gather spend data and requirements for in-scope categories for sourcing and potential savings (facilitate via SPOC)

  • Asses opportunities & identify categories for wave planning

  • Develop senior client relationships to influence services sales opportunities

  • Responsible for contributing to knowledge capital

  • Translate ambiguous communication into clear and precise language

  • Responsible for determining data collection requirements and creating concrete analysis from

  • ambiguous requests, based on customer needs

  • Responsible for driving succinct analysis from multiple data loads

  • Facilitate standardisation of requirements, forming agreement on baseline costs and estimated savings before the start of any sourcing event

  • Develop strategic relationships developing an advisor relationship

  • Understand category plans (developed by the Universities) for input into the sourcing event at the commencement of a sourcing event

  • Provide University specific reports on contracted savings

  • Suggest ways to increase the adoption of client

  • Build relationships with stakeholders, and coordinating sourcing team members to deliver contracted savings and services for their specific categories


Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a professional services firm or industry experience with supply chain and/or procurement background

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of Consulting experience 
  • 5 or more years in leading procurement or sourcing engagements; able to become a trusted advisor for customers particularly but not limited to Sourcing and Procurement knowledge

  • Proven project delivery experience

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in business development, sales strategy, and/or proposal development roles

  • Able to work and leverage a shared services environment

  • Demonstrated ability to forge meaningful relationships with key stakeholders

  • Comfortable working in complex, matrix managed organizations

  • Adaptable management style to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of clients and internal organizations

  • Understanding of outsourced services, procurement category management, and stakeholder engagement
