Testing your problem-solving skills and more
By: Kristina Mahony

Attending the Tech boot camp changed the way I looked at my engineering degree. It made me realise that at uni, you not only develop a specific set of skills but also a way of thinking and approaching challenges.

During the four-day event I was able to work in natural language understanding and develop my deductive reasoning skills by experimenting with new technologies. I am now more confident in my ability to learn new technologies from the ground up.

Since the boot camp I have been doing my thesis in machine learning with Accenture Technology and working with the Accenture myWizard Analytics for Application management (AAAM) team. As a part of AAAM I help our clients tap operational intelligence to make smart, data-driven decisions.

I would definitely recommend attending a boot camp. You’ll discover how technology can add value, get hands on experience with industry relevant technologies and learn about what drives Accenture to transform businesses through innovation.

A final piece of advice is to not worry about your previous coding experience because having the right attitude is more important. With a positive and determined mindset, you’ll be surprised by what you can learn in a short period of time.

The Sydney Bootcamp will run from Monday 19th to Friday 23rd of February 2018. Applications are now open, sign up here.
